2006 Windsor Oaks Vineyard/ Cabernet Sauvignon Location Chalk Hill Appellation Chalk Hill is in the northeast corner of the Russian River AVA and was established in June of 1988.
The soils in the vineyard are chalky white ash soils which lend themselves to the production of excellent Cabernet Sauvignon particularly on the upper hills where this fruit comes from. 5 gallons per pail, 3 pails recommended per fermentation, produces approximately 48 bottles per 3 pail fermentation or $8.90 a bottle.
