Location: Sonoma Coast appellation. The Roberts Road vineyard is owned by the Sangiacomo family and is highly sought after by many winemakers.
We are lucky to get a small amount of this fantastic Pinot Noir. Vineyard location selection is always tricky with Pinot Noir and this vineyard located in the Petaluma gap has proven itself to be an ideal location to grow world-class Pinot Noir. The vines struggle to create only 1 ton per acre. 5 gallons per pail, 2 pails recommended for submerged cap fermentation or 3 pails recommended per regular fermentation, produces approximately 48 bottles per 3 pail fermentation or $8.90 a bottle.
