2006 Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Location: Rutherford district, Napa Valley Appellation. We purchased a small amount of this fantastic and highly sought after fruit in 2006 and put it in suspended animation while we furiously worked on the WinePod release.
As a result, we never really used any of this fantastic fruit. This is the same fruit that goes into well known $85 cabernets. The Trailside Vineyard is planted in Rutherford dirt, hugging the Silverado Trail on its east side near the banks of the Conn Creek. The vines consistently produce deep purple berries bursting with an extra ripeness and intensity. 5 gallons per pail, recommended 3 pails per fermentation produces approximately 48 bottles or $13.50 a bottle.
