How To Create label template from image

After you have opened our blank template you can start making your own label template.

On a sheet you see the table which consists of four cells. Do not change width/height of cells.

Inserting picture

  1. Place the insertion point in empty cell (for example, click left top cell)
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From file.
  3. Choose the necessary picture and press to Insert

Add a Text Box

  1. Unselect image – for example, click neighboring empty cell.
  2. On the Insert menu click Text Box.
  3. Pull down the left mouse button on a picture and pull till the necessary size, then release. You had a Text Box. Select the frame or text box. Drag a sizing handle until the item is the size you want.
  4. Add your text or WordArt object.
  5. Now it is necessary to make Text Box transparent and without a contour. Right-click to the Text Box and select Format Drawing Canvas. In Fill area in drop down menu select No Fill. In Line area in drop down menu select No Line. Click Ok

Add a WordArt object

  1. Place the insertion point in the Text Box – click at free space in Text Box.
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click WordArt.
  3. Choose the liked type of appearance in the appeared window and press Ok.
  4. Choose a necessary font and enter the text. Press Ok WordArt object is added in a position of the cursor.

Editing a Text Box

  1. Double-click it and edit it.

Editing WordArt objects

  1. To edit text just double-click and edit it.
  2. To edit an appearance use WordArt Toolbar (View->Toolbars->WordArt). You can edit:
    • appearance type
    • fill type (color or texture)
    • line color and thickness
    • transparency
    • a bend or an inclination and another

To copy ready Label with Text Boxes in the remained empty cell:

  1. Move mouse pointer to the left edge of a cell which is necessary for copying, approximately in the middle of a cell. It is necessary that the pointer has become a black arrow!
  2. Right-click and select Copy
  3. Right-click at empty cell and select Paste. Repeat this action for other empty cells.
